EXCLUSIVE : Naomi Scott ( Aladdin ), Olivia Cooke ( Ready Player One ), and Bel Powley ( T he Diary Of A Teenage Girl ) are starring in and executive-producing dark-comedy thriller podcast series Soft Voice . The story follows a young woman (Scott) with a voice in her head that tells her what to do, leading to her extraordinary success. One day, the voice disappears — and a new one takes over. Heralding from LA-based audio studio QCode , the 10-episode series is created by James Bloor. The drama will launch from March 17 on most major pod platforms. Also exec-producing are Jordan Spence, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Fred Berger, Rob Herting, and David Henning. Scott and Jordan Spence are producing the project under their New Name banner. NBC'S singing competition series The Voice returned for a twentieth season on March 1, 2021. Since it's start in 2011, the series has seen a number of celebrities grace the panel of coaches, including, Christina Aguilera , CeeLo Green, Shakira , Pharrell Williams, Usher, Miley Cyrus , Alicia Keys and many others. BTS‘s Jimin has many talents, and one of them is hitting the high notes for his songs. In a recent interview, the star got candid about the hugely debated verse in ‘ Life Goes On ’ that had fans wondering if it was really him or a woman singing the part. During the chorus, some noted that the note goes very high for a man to sing. This gave way to speculations that a woman’s voice may have been added to the song instead of Jimin’s voice. Putting all rumours to rest, Jimin admitted that he and the producers discussed the possibility of including a woman’s voice in the track. He even admitted that they thought it would be a “good addition” to the song. However, as it would be difficult to find a female guest vocalist immediately, they decided that Jimin would push his vocal range to hit the right pitch. Rasika Dugal joins Stephen Fry and Michelle Gomez for a comedy audio series Actor Rasika Dugal has joined an international cast including Stephen Fry, Michelle Gomez and Alexander Owen in the BBC audio comedy series, The Empire. The Channel X production for BBC Radio 2 is written by Anuvab Pal and directed by Ed Morrish. The Empire is set in Imperial India where the new district magistrate of Darjeeling grapples with responsibilities of his new post with the help, and sometimes hindrance, of colleagues. Dugal will be voicing over for the character of Sapna, a proto-revolutionary. “Anuvab Pal’s script had me in splits when I read it. I had come off a three month long shoot for an intense drama series and comedy is just what I needed.”.
