A Waikato council boss says “he’s absolutely stunned” a Waka Kotahi-NZTA board member has called the new Hamilton to Auckland train “the worst of both worlds”. The train, also known as Te Huia, has $85.8 million of funding from the Government. Local authorities have provided $12.2 million. Waka Kotahi director Patrick Reynolds tweeted on Monday that the train was the “worst of both worlds”. New Delhi : Indian Railways, which is one of the most important modes of transportation across India, has undertaken several new measures to provide necessary facilities for comfortable travel amid the unprecedented outbreak of coronavirus. The Union Minister of Railways and Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal on Monday (September 21, 2020) informed that the Indian Railways has stopped service of cooked food and replaced the same with Ready to Eat (RTE) meals in trains due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. After 185 days aboard the International Space Station (ISS), NASA astronaut Kate Rubins and her two Russian counterparts will return to Earth on Saturday, April 17. NASA will livestream the event, including the trio’s undocking from the space station aboard the Soyuz spacecraft on Friday, April 16, and the landing in Kazakhstan the following day. More details below. Rubins arrived at the ISS with Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov as part of Expedition 64 on October 14, 2020. During her six-month stint aboard the ISS, Rubins participated in two spacewalks , voted in the U.S. presidential election , and worked on a range of experiments . The three astronauts also experienced 2,960 orbits of Earth and traveled a total of 78.4 million miles. This is Rubins’ second spaceflight, with 300 cumulative days in space.
