After Netflix outraged fans of Nickelodeon's classic series Avatar: The Last Airbender by making drastic changes to their planned live-action film based on the show, Nickelodeon has announced the launch of Avatar Studios, a new division within the company set to create original content spanning animated series and movies based on the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender and its spinoff, The Legend of Korra . The best part of the news is that Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, who were the original creators and executive producers of the shows, will lead the new studio as co-chief creative officers, months after the duo left Netflix's planned Avatar: The Last Airbender film citing creative differences. Daisy Ridley is leaving the door open for a potential return to Star Wars someday in the future, even if it probably won't be anytime soon. From The Force Awakens to The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker , Ridley has played a major role in the Star Wars sequel trilogy by portraying Rey. There are no plans for Ridley to return in the next installment of the franchise from director Taika Waititi or another Star Wars project, but that doesn't mean we'll definitely never see Rey again. An old Star Wars comic may offer some clues to Grogu's past. Better known as Baby Yoda, the character debuted in The Mandalorian and has since become a true fan-favorite within the franchise. But much remains mysterious about the beloved little alien. Where, exactly, did he come from? What is the name of his species? Many answers are sure to come but the comic book in question may offer at least some hint as to what happened to the Child before he and Mando crossed paths. The issue in question is Star Wars Tales #13, which was written by Fabian Nicieza, Jim Krueger and W. Haden Blackman. The series was published by Dark Horse Comics around the time the prequels were being released. They are no longer canon as Disney opted to throw everything out and start from scratch after purchasing Lucasfilm in 2012. But these tales, now dubbed Legends, have often been used to inspire the official canon. So they can be a helpful guide. The Mighty Ducks are skating back into action on the upcoming Disney+ original series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, but things are different this time. As you'll see in the first trailer for the series below, the Ducks are the villains this time around. Some things never change, though, and it wouldn't be a piece of the Mighty Ducks movie mythology without Coach Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) involved. Granted, this isn't the same hopeful and inspiring Bombay fans will remember. At least, not yet. As it turns out, though, he might not be the only cast member from the original trilogy of films appearing on the show.
