BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. — Police clashed with protesters for a second night in the Minneapolis suburb where an officer who authorities say apparently intended to fire a Taser, not a handgun, fatally shot a Black man during a traffic stop. Brooklyn Center Police Chief Tim Gannon described Sunday’s shooting death of 20-year-old Daunte Wright as “an accidental discharge.” The shooting sparked protests and unrest in an area already on edge because of the trial of the first of four police officers charged in George Floyd’s death. Hundreds of protesters faced off against police in Brooklyn Center after nightfall Monday, and hours after a dusk-to-dawn curfew was announced by the governor. BOSTON (CBS) — Jayson Tatum is starting to look like his old self, but the Celtics star still isn’t all the way back from his bout with COVID-19. He said that he’s getting there, but on Tuesday night, revealed to reporters that he has been using an inhaler before games since returning nearly three months ago. Tatum said that he’s “very close” to getting back to 100 percent, and his play of late would indicate that. But he’s now using an inhaler for the first time in his life. PRET a Manger's new subscription service launches today and it's giving customers free coffee for a month when they sign up. Under the YourPret Barista service, customers can get up to five drinks per day for a £20 monthly subscription - as long as coffees are purchased half an hour apart. But Pret is running a promotional offer where you get the first month completely free. Just keep in mind you'll automatically be charged the £20 fee each month after this unless you cancel before the first month is up. The new offering, which goes live on the Pret website today, comes after the coffee chain announced it was slashing 2,800 roles as part of a restructure .
