REUTERS: Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa is delighted with how quickly new signing Raphinha has adapted to the demands of the Premier League after the Brazilian winger scored in Saturday's 1-0 win at Everton. Raphinha netted his first goal for Leeds in just his second start since arriving from Rennes in October, driving the ball between the legs of Everton defender Ben Godfrey and in at the foot of the far post in the 79th minute. "He's adapted very quickly to the Premier League," Bielsa told reporters. Sporting director "Victor Orta anticipated that he had the characteristics to play in this league, so he was correct in choosing him," Bielsa said. "He's potent and moves all around the pitch, so he worries the opposing defence." The victory lifted Leeds to 11th place in the table on 14 points. Bielsa's side travel to London to face Chelsea on Dec. 5. REUTERS: Scotland coach Gregor Townsend has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him in charge until the 2023 World Cup, Scottish Rugby announced on Thursday, making him Scotland's longest-serving coach in the professional era. Townsend, who won 82 caps for Scotland, took over as coach in June 2017 and has been in charge for 40 tests, winning 22 and drawing one. Townsend's contract was set to run out in June and the 47-year-old, who led Scotland to a best-ever fifth in the world rankings in 2017-18, said earlier this month that he had been in discussions over a renewal for weeks. "Over the past year I believe we have made progress on and off the field which give real grounds for optimism around what this team can achieve," Townsend said in a statement. "I know how much our supporters want the team to do well and the backing for the team has been fantastic, especially during the difficulties of the past year with COVID, knowing how much of a lift the country … [Read more...] about Rugby-Scotland coach Townsend signs new contract until 2023 World Cup

"Additionally, the very fact that the video was posted on social media is also abhorrent to Haas F1 team," it added, saying the matter was being dealt with internally. 7 signs your long distance relationship might not be working anymore (thanks Covid)
LDRs are hard enough on their own, but with no sign of regular international travel returning anytime soon, the pandemic might have creeped into your relationship and caused it more damage without you realising it. If your LDR shows any of these red flags of fatigue, it could be a sign that it’s time for a reality check: 1. Calls become infrequent Calls are the backbone of most LDRs and most couples usually set aside specific times (especially if there’s a time difference to work around) to speak regularly to each other at mutually convenient times. If you start noticing that your partner is making less effort or if there is a definite decline in the frequency in which you hear each other's voices, it could mean that priorities might be changing or that the desperation to speak is not as strong anymore. 2. Talking to your partner feels like a chore rather than a highlight If the frequency of your phone calls start dwindling and you’re not talking to each other as often as … [Read more...] about 7 signs your long distance relationship might not be working anymore (thanks Covid)
