BEIJING: Starting on Monday, a commercial autonomous bus called Apollo, produced by Chinese internet search giant Baidu Inc, opened to the public in the mall atrium of Shin Kong Place in Chongqing’s Yubei district. The entire journey takes about 3km without stopping. It takes 20 minutes and costs 25 yuan (RM15). Apollo can carry 14 passengers and has a battery life of 100km. The driverless travel route is set by a small touch screen. It is China’s first commercial autonomous bus entering a commercial route, according to Baidu. Apollo was launched in April 2017 in collaboration with major global carmakers, including Volkswagen, BMW and Ford. Thailand is proposing an easing of disease control measures in 19 more provinces in an effort to resume business operations. The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration will consider the proposal on Monday, which would increase the number of provinces to see relaxed measures from 35 to 54. Chinese regulators have fined Alibaba Group Holding Ltd 18 billion yuan ($2.75 billion) for violating anti-monopoly rules and abusing its dominant market position, marking the highest ever antitrust fine to be imposed in the country. The new OnePlus 9 phones have come into the market packed with features like the SD 888 chipset, 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display and the Hasselblad camera. But one feature of the smartphones’ seems to have been replaced with another without including it in any announcements. The feature in question is File Dash. The recently launched flagship series has adopted Google’s Nearby Share in place of File Dash. The default OnePlus File Manager does not show the File Dash option, several buyers of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro complained on Reddit. The company also confirmed the same in a statement to XDA, which means that File Dash has been ditched in favour of the Nearby Share. For File Dash to work and transfer files wirelessly, the sender and the receiver both had to be OnePlus phones .
