Go-Viet driver dies after street brawl over spitting row in Ho Chi Minh City

A Go-Viet motorbike driver died after a fight with another guy over a spitting row in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday afternoon. A conflict broke out between H.N.S., 38, and P.V.D., 49, when the two were traveling on motorbikes in Alley 69 on Nguyen Gia Tri Street in Binh Thanh District at about 4:00 pm. D. reportedly cursed at S. after seeing him spit in public. The men then pulled their vehicles over to continue the row, which soon turned into a fight as D. kicked S.’ motorbike over. They scuffled and wrestled on the street before local people pulled them apart. D. suddenly collapsed and fainted on the street about two minutes later, but regained consciousness after people gave him first aid. However, D. passed out once again only five minutes afterwards.
