Forward Jonathan Boxill didn’t quite get that memo. “I went to a game when I was home!” laughs the 29-year-old, who returned to England for the holidays. “I went to see the Bracknell Bees play Swindon (Wildcats), two teams I used to play for and I have some friends there, so I didn’t really disconnect that much!” One suspects Adam Keefe won’t exactly fall out with Boxill for that.
